Hello! I'm a Developer, Educator, and YouTuber. Early in my career and in the late 90s "dot boom", I started a successful ecommerce company and sold it after approximately 7 years of operation. While operating that company, I became hooked on how much I could accomplish with code. After taking a few years off, I returned to work as an educator. First, as a part-time adjunct instructor and then full-time in the Informatics Dept. of Fort Hays State University where I taught both web development and entrepreneurship courses. After a few years at FHSU, I took a developer job in the private sector, but I have continued to teach web development for FHSU online as a part-time adjunct instructor. My YouTube channel began as a way to reach my students, but I decided to open it up for all. 200k subscribers later, I'm glad I did. I have also been honored to contribute videos to the freeCodeCamp, Traversy Media, and Net Ninja channels. I have no doubt I'm in the mentorship stage of my career, but I try to learn something new and make a little progress every day.
