Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and the emerging field of Spatial Computing have collectively forged a new frontier known as XR, or "Extended Reality." The landscape of XR technologies is vibrant, teeming with innovation, and continuously evolving -- **we’re looking at you Apple Vision Pro** Yet, amidst this technological proliferation, the question looms: where do YOU start? THAT Conference and Lance Larsen have been demystifying the process of crafting XR games and experiences for many years, but this year, we're elevating the experience at our favorite Summer Camp for Geeks by introducing THREE distinct XR tracks, each featuring brand-new labs: Apple Vision Pro (Options: Unity+C# or visionOS+Swift, supported on Mac) Meta Quest (Unity+C# compatible with Windows or Mac) Microsoft HoloLens (Unity+C# on Windows or Mac) With over 20 million Meta Quest devices in circulation and the new Apple Vision Pro projected to reach over 400,000 units this year alone, the appetite for fresh XR experiences is undeniable. Participants will embark on a journey from scratch, harnessing the latest tools to develop, and deploy an XR application for the Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, or the HoloLens. Note: For returning attendees, adding even more brand new Meta Quest labs this year! Lance will bring his new Apple Vision Pro, several Meta Quests, and a Hololens for application testing - but if you have your own devices - bring them! Get a head start (or at least install the tools) and checkout Lance's website (www.LanceLarsen.com) offers an ever evolving series of tutorial blogs on creating your own applications for Apple Vision Pro, Meta Quest, and Hololens. Look for updated blogs over the summer! Lance Larsen is a Microsoft MVP for Mixed Reality and passionate community speaker. Lance has led MADdotNET, the Madison .NET User Community for over 15 years - www.MADdotNET.com. He also professionally develops on the HoloLens, Meta Quests and now the Apple Vision Pro! Check out his ever evolving blog for tutorials on each!
