Zero-Trust Security ~ Where your paranoia is your power!
Monday, January 29, 2024 - 8:30 PM UTC, for 1 hour.
Regular, 60 minute presentation
Room: Campsite 3
It's your app. You wrote it. You know which services it needs to communicate with better than the Ops team. But do you know how to configure your Kubernetes ingress to provide the right access—securely? Like many other aspects of software development, the responsibility for security continues shifting left, closer to the developers writing the code. In this talk, we will cover the major tenets of zero-trust networking and discuss how to apply this philosophy to applications running on a Kubernetes cluster. You’ll learn about Kubernetes Network Policies, network policy plugins, and some best practices for configuring your application stack securely.
